This is the official website ("Website") of Louise Shafar, ("we/us"). At present we can only accept and fulfil orders via the Website for delivery in the United Kingdom (including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). For help on ordering from outside the UK and additional queries, please call us at Louise Shafar on 0141 638 4000 . The Website is available only for your personal, non-commercial use and its use is subject to these terms and conditions ("Terms"). Your access of the Website signifies your acceptance of these Terms.
Products
The jewellery shown on the Website cover a selection of designs available through our stores in the UK.
We make every effort to give you an accurate impression of our jewellery through the Website. Please note, however, that images may not be to scale and colours shown are as accurate as Internet technology allows and will vary according to the settings on your individual computer.
We reserve the right to change jewellery specifications and designs from time to time. We will bring any changes to your attention when replying to a product enquiry or placing an order.
Terms of Purchase
No contract will subsist between you and Louise Shafar for the sale of any item unless and until you have received confirmation of your order and its details from us. Once you have received that confirmation, there will be a legally binding contract between us.
All orders are subject to stock availability and payment clearance.
For hygiene reasons we cannot exchange or refund pierced earrings.
Purchases made via the Louise Shafar website cannot be returned or exchanged through a Louise Shafar store.
Prices
Prices are current retail price in Pounds Sterling as per the prices in our stores. All prices include VAT, currently at the rate of 17.5%.
Sizing of Rings
If you know the size of the ring you wish to purchase, please indicate it when ordering.
If you are not happy with the final fit, we will happily alter it once free of charge for you. Please follow the instructions below for returning your purchase to us. Alterations normally take 7 working days from when we receive them.
Delivery
Orders placed before 12 noon (GMT/BST) will ordinarily be dispatched next working day* for delivery the subsequent working day**

- GY1, GY9, HS2, PA61, PA62-75, PA78, ZE2-3 :- 2 day delivery
- KW16-17, PH30, PH41-44 :- 3 day delivery
(Non Mainland UK orders will normally be delivered within 7-10 days subject to any customs delay).
Purchases will be dispatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Gift wrapping will be complimentary on all purchases – any special requirements can be arranged by calling us at Louise Shafar on 0141 638 4000.
If there is likely to be a delay with your order we will notify you immediately. You can then cancel within 7 days and obtain a full refund.
You will be asked to sign for the delivery and this will be used as proof of delivery. Please ensure that the address you give us for delivery is secure and that you, or someone on your behalf, are available to sign for the delivery. If someone without authority signs for the purchase at the address you have given us, it will not be the responsibility of Louise Shafar.
If you Change Your Mind
You may cancel your order (unless it is for a custom-made piece) for any reason at any time up to the end of the seventh working day after you place your order, even if you have already received your product.
To cancel your order you must notify us in writing.
If you cancel your order but we have already dispatched the item to you then you should call us on 0141 638 4000 to arrange a return (following the returns procedure set out below), which will be at your cost and risk
This refund is only available if the item is unworn, in a saleable condition and is returned with its original packaging. You should also include proof of purchase. Please note that all jewellery returned will be checked by our experts to ensure it is as originally sent, by us to you, before a refund is processed.
Returns
In the unlikely event that you receive your item(s) in a faulty/damaged state, please notify us as soon as possible, these items will be dealt with in accordance with our returns procedure.

Please note that we cannot be responsible for items which are lost on their return to us so please be sure to retain your proof of posting.
Please ensure items are returned within 28 days of receipt for a full refund (subject to the conditions above)
We aim to make the refund or exchange within 10 days of receipt of the returned goods.
Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment.

Other than set out above, we make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the content (text and images) of the Website. We are not responsible for the content of any third party websites that you may link to from the Website.

We pride ourselves on our innovative and stylish designs and go to great lengths to create products that are unique to Louise Shafar.
All our products are protected against copying by domestic and international law. We reserve all of our rights concerning our trade marks, copyrights and designs. Copying of any product in any form will be an infringement of our intellectual property rights and is strictly prohibited. You may only download or print images for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use is expressly prohibited.
Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice and will post the new version on the Website when we do so. Your continued use of the Website will signify your acceptance of those new terms
There may be mistakes, inaccuracies or other errors in the information on this Website. For example the information may be out of date or incomplete in some way.
